I spent six days at Lek Jomtien across two stays in January. It's a decent budget hotel, with a good location right on Soi 7, Jomtien, which makes it easy to get around. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the rooms are quite large. The old TV works fine, and the fridge is in good condition. The bathroom is very basic, and at 182 cm tall I found the shower too low. Both rooms had a bad smell when I first walked in. It eased after I ran the AC for a while, becoming manageable. Breakfast is very simple: white bread, eggs, tea, and coffee, with no butter, salad, or fruit. Don't expect much variety. For the price, it's okay if you want a clean room in a good location and can live with basic facilities.

Breakfast came with the room. I'd stayed on this Soi a few times before, and this time I chose Lek hotel. It was very nice.

The rooftop dining room has panoramic views, a library, and you can use it any time of day. The staff work hard and are friendly, and breakfast is included, which makes this great value. Our room was large and had a lovely balcony. The fridge was bigger than any we've had in a hotel. Everything was very clean and the room was serviced daily. It was also great to have a pool at this price. Jomtien has pretty much everything close by: the beach, night market, bars, cafes and restaurants, transport, immigration, several 7/11s, Tops, and plenty more.

For a budget stay, it has what you need, and I'd come back. The rooms are spacious but basic, with a good mattress and bed linen, and they're cleaned daily. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a well located budget hotel that's been affected by COVID, like many others. Breakfast is free but very basic, and the lift is slow.

The WiFi barely works, and the signal in the room is bad 🥴. The rest was good: a comfortable bed, cool air-con, and hot running water in the toilet. There's also a big fridge for keeping drinks cold. The beach is within walking distance, and the pool is nice every time.
