We had a lovely stay at Sweet Mango with Ms.Om. The restaurant area and the living space outside our room were both spacious, and we enjoyed staying on the second floor while construction nearby made our room quite loud. Breakfast was great, with small portions, and she made every dish we had. The coffee was good, and the mango was so tasty that we wished we’d had more with breakfast. The toilet and shower felt a bit too tight for our family of three, and the shared third floor could use more towel racks. Even so, we enjoyed our stay.

We came in for food and drinks, but there wasn't any bottled water. The fries tasted like they were cooked in oil that had been reused several times. I ordered a “chicken” Panang curry, though I couldn't tell what meat it was or even whether it was chicken. It was inedible.

A new hostel in a good spot near Doi - Suthep Temple. The food and drinks atmosphere was nice, and I liked the hot cocoa best. They also have a good selection of mango desserts.

The owner is such a sweet lady, and she spent a lot of time learning to make Japanese desserts. The mango desserts are fabulous, especially the mango cheesecake.
