Royal Park Apartments

Everything was very clean, and for the money it's a nice spot with a beautiful pool on top. The apartment has air conditioning, TV with CNN, FOX and local channels, plus a kitchenette with a fridge, stovetop, and glasses. The bed was fine, and the shower was okay. Water pressure was good in the morning and at night, and it worked otherwise. It's a peaceful place in Pattaya, away from the action, with excellent eateries nearby, a bakery around the corner, money exchange huts, massages, and more. The apartments are all the same. Electricity is billed separately, so does that mean you turn off the AC when you leave the apartment?

The rooms are fairly spacious, and the layout means you can access the toilet from either the bedroom or living room side. There's a fully working kitchen tucked into a corner. Furniture is worn and outdated, though, and the AC makes a monstrously loud draft, with buzzing from the engines. The electricity room beside the bedroom is also concerning because of the strong vibrations and droning. There's no soundproofing in any direction.

It's a peaceful, convenient spot in Pattaya. The apartment is very clean and spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

After a rough start, I'd use this place again. The receptionist was very pleasant and apologetic, and the room was lovely and exceptionally clean. It's in a nice, quiet cul de sac, about 1km from the beach. Electricity was charged separately, and came to 700bt for my 30 hour stay. I'd arranged to arrive at 6am after a 10-hour drive, but reception was closed. Security was there, but had no room key, and nobody answered the mobile phone despite my many calls. I ended up sitting in the car for 50 minutes until reception opened.
