SAB Residence

We left two days early after our stay at SAB Residence, and got no refund. When we returned the keys and complained about the mold and bugs, the staff just shrugged, with no apology. My time in Pattaya was ruined. The rooms smelled heavily damp, like an unventilated basement, and there was thick, fuzzy black mold on the bathroom tiles and around the AC unit. The insects were awful too. One night I got up to use the bathroom, turned on the light, and saw at least four large cockroaches scatter under the sink. In the morning, there was a dead one beside my bag. I know bugs can happen in a tropical country, but this was far beyond that. It still makes my skin crawl. From check-in onward, the service was terrible. The receptionist barely looked up from her phone, rolled her eyes when I asked for the Wi-Fi password, and acted like our presence was a nuisance. There was no Thai hospitality to speak of. I usually don't leave reviews, but feel I have to warn people. If zero stars were possible, I'd give that. Dear Management Team, your response talked about reimbursement details but ignored the fact that unsafe conditions on your property ruined my vacation. The injury left me on antibiotics, unable to go in the water, and needing continued wound care. I sent another hospital receipt today and have another medical visit on Wednesday. I've paid every expense out of pocket. This is about hotel liability, guest safety, and what the injury did to my stay, not just the accounting. I expect all medical costs reimbursed, plus fair compensation for accommodation I couldn't enjoy because of circumstances caused by the hotel. I remain open to resolving this amicably, but expect it to be taken seriously and handled professionally. Save your money, health, and sanity. You'd be better sleeping on the beach than booking this place. Avoid it at all costs!
