The Beach Front Resort Pattaya - SHA Plus

Hi friends, I visited with friends recently and came away very disappointed. The property might seem decent compared with some other places in Pattaya, but the hospitality was almost nonexistent and the staff were consistently rude and unwelcoming. The rooms were very small, barely suitable for two people, yet they squeezed in three beds for triple sharing. The air conditioners didn't work properly, and no one answered the helpline. There was no help with luggage, though we managed that ourselves. Breakfast was the biggest letdown: very few options, poor management, and even a basic request for extra toast wasn't entertained. I also felt the way we were treated showed a clear bias toward Indian guests. Whether intentional or not, it left a very bad impression, and I found that unacceptable. Don't choose a room based on the pictures. Mine smelled bad, maybe because of the air conditioning. The only plus was that the AC was quiet. I checked out after one night.

I paid 190 baht (£4.48) for this awful breakfast, and couldn't eat it. If you're after an American or English style breakfast, avoid this place. It's the worst I've had in over four years in Pattaya. I know Beach Road can cost a bit more, but this was unacceptable. There are plenty of other places further along the road, and I'm heading to one now. Save your money and go elsewhere for a European style breakfast.

The location is fantastic, and the rooms with a side or front ocean view give you a great view across Pattaya. The rooms have good amenities, and the staff are generous. A great place to stay.
