This is a multi-owner condo that looks a bit like a dorm. You can rent by the week or month, or go for a longer lease of six months or a full year. There are studios around 20 m² and one-bedroom units around 25 m² with tiny balconies. Prices run from 6,000 to 12,000 baht a month. Rooms face both sides of the building, with a long, narrow, straight, dark corridor on every floor. I wouldn’t rent on the first or second floor without seeing the room first. I looked at three one-bedroom units on the first floor and two on the second, and all had furniture in bad condition. They looked as if there’d been five centimeters of water on the floor for a long time, with it only drying yesterday. In two first-floor rooms, I found a lot of black mold under the wallpaper. Maybe you’ll get lucky and find a good unit. There’s a pool between blocks “C” and “B,” but it often doesn’t work. There’s parking too.
I like that there’s a pharmacy and a 7/11 right by the condo, and a Big C mall with full banking facilities nearby. Terminal 21, a new mega shopping mall, is less than a 10-minute bike ride away. I think this is a good-sized condo with strong capital appreciation in the coming years. Security is strict, but I’m fine with that.
It doesn’t seem to be available for holiday rentals right now. The location is handy, near the North Pattaya and Sukhumvit Road intersection.
A lovely, quiet place to live.
