Such a beautiful place. I recommend going.

The room looked just like the pictures and was lovely, but the staff experience was poor. We stayed one night, two days, and thought we’d checked everything carefully, but didn’t inspect the coffee area because we don’t drink coffee. At checkout they said a coffee spoon was missing, even though we hadn’t touched that area. When we asked whether it had been there from the start, reception said it’s usually there. That doesn’t prove housekeeping had put it away properly. They simply said we should have checked, though nobody told us to do that at check-in. Even if we had used the coffee setup, it would only have been the next morning, and we would still have been charged. One spoon costs 100฿. I’d suggest checking every room item before settling in and taking photos if you can. Tell staff right away if something is missing. I’ve read other reviews about housekeeping forgetting towels or leaving them wet. If guests are told they should check, how do they know the room was prepared properly and nothing was missing? Could this be deliberate? If so, it might happen in four or five rooms a day. I got several hundred [units of currency]. I’d also book through the app if possible, rather than directly with the accommodation. I’ve seen reports of bookings being cancelled or prices raised when people arrived. On April 14th, the accommodation called us at noon to check on us, even though check-in wasn’t until after 2:00 PM. Why call then? If we hadn’t booked through the app, we might have lost our room. Maybe they wanted to raise prices during the holiday season.
