The rooms themselves were decent, but the price was too high and the stay was disappointing. We asked for quiet rooms, yet noise from the nightclubs went on until 4 am. At night there's no taxi access to the hotel, so you have to drag your bags about 100 metres to reach a pickup point. I wouldn't recommend it for couples looking for a relaxing, private stay.

The Windy Inn was a great fit for me because it's in the lively Walking Street area. The staff were lovely and friendly, and I really enjoyed spending time by the pool.

🚫🚫🚫The view was a huge letdown. I paid 5400 INR a day, about 1800 Bhat in Thai, for a pool and ocean view, but what I got was very disappointing. They show pictures of another hotel and then give you a different one. There's no pool or view, and no lift or anyone to help with bags, so you have to carry them up to the fourth floor yourself. When I raised it, the owner said it wasn't her problem. Don't go for the balcony views. 🚫🚫🚫🚫

It's basically just a place to stay near Walking Street, and I didn't think it was worth it. It's very loud, with the swimming pool party right across the road in front of the hotel, and there's no lift. Families should avoid staying here. The rest is up to you.

The only real plus is the convenient spot near the end of Walking Street, which works well for trips to Koh Larn. The room itself felt plain and disappointing, and room service only covers the basics. There was no hairdryer or coffee, the bathroom was below average, and nearby party noise kept making it hard to sleep.
