The building is tucked away, so I expected it to be quiet. But the condo next door regularly has pool parties late at night with very loud Bollywood music, which could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. The rooms and building are old and poorly maintained. There are three elevators, and they seem new and move pretty fast. The security staff are excellent, but the people in the juris office are not friendly at all. Maybe they’re tired of foreigners staying there. 😢

Yensabai Condotel is close to Walking Street and Beach Road, with a mini mall and lots of restaurants nearby. I was happy with the location during my stay. One thing to know: about one time in four, Bolt Taxi drivers can’t find you because Yensabai is somewhat hidden from the main roads.

The pool has been renovated, and the building got new elevators and a fresh paint job last month. This is a condo building with separate owners, and some units have permanent residents while others are rented out. Each condo is different, so the experience depends on the room. I’ve been coming for many years, ever since pattayarentaroom was the first Google result when I started exploring Pattaya. I love how diverse the surrounding area is, with traditional Thai society alongside all kinds of businesses, Arab area's cozy late night restaurants, sexy clothes shops and women of many nationalities, plus gay and Indian areas.

The only good thing here is the location. The place doesn’t feel safe for foreigners, and the security guard is useless. There’s no contract, then they overcharge you. The furniture is cheap and broken, and the damaged swimming pool has no tiles left, making it easy to hurt yourself. The building’s ventilation is poor, and smoke from neighbors comes into my room through the bathroom fan every day. WiFi is slow and unreliable. 😭
