The peaceful, leafy setting made it easy to unwind, and breakfast was simple but tasty. We also had an excellent dinner one night, with carefully prepared food and good ingredients. The spa was closed during our visit, apparently because of construction and improvements, which was a little disappointing. Our king-bed villa felt private and cozy. We especially enjoyed having our own jacuzzi and outdoor shower, surrounded by nature, plus a mini fridge to keep drinks and water cold. Anucha was especially attentive and kind, making sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Pludhaya Resort & Spa made for a relaxing stay, and we’d be happy to return.

The pool was my favorite part, and it was fun to see the water buffalo nearby. Everywhere you looked there were peaceful views, which made the resort feel like somewhere you could happily stay all day. The Pludhaya team were welcoming from check-in right through to departure. They made my trip to Ayutthaya feel even more special, and I’d love to come back.

We came for the buffet lunch on a weekday in November. The food was good, though I liked the atmosphere even more. There’s a lovely courtyard with a big tree, and roofed walkways run beside a small pond. Most tables are outside, either under the deep shade in the courtyard or along those covered corridors. The old furniture is mixed and matched, which adds to the charm.

We stopped in just for lunch. The food was traditional Thai, and the resort looked very nice, with rooms built out over the water.

A spacious place with separate little houses. The room was clean and nice, and the lights made everything look beautiful at night.
