A reasonable price and close to the island jetty, though there isn't dedicated motorcycle parking.

The room was moldy, and the towel looked unclean. There were many types of ants, including red, giant and big black ones.

The rooms were very clean, with large comfortable beds, well-working Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and a shower that's easy to control. The larger rooms away from the highway were fairly quiet. There's no mini-fridge, but there is a coffee maker. Meals are available at the hotel's cafe. Right next door, a business complex has a gas station, small pharmacy, several Thai restaurants, an Amazon Coffee shop, Kentucky Fried Chicken, a 7-11 and other stores. The location is about 2 km, a little over a mile, from the area's main business centres. None of the staff I spoke with could speak English, though most were friendly. The gentleman who sometimes sits at the main desk to greet guests, possibly the owner, usually isn't in a good mood. If you've seen the Seinfeld episode with the "soup nazi," you'll recognize the tone. Still, it's excellent value.

I had a terrible stay and wouldn’t recommend it. The sheets had dirty marks that looked like blood, and ants were crawling on the bed. The room was very hot because the AC barely worked. I had to leave my shoes outside, as the sign on the front door instructed, and found my leather sandals soaking wet and ruined the next day. Staff acted like they knew nothing, ignored me, and did nothing to help. The owner said I could have left them indoors, despite the sign. The staff were rude, wouldn’t talk with me, and couldn’t speak English. It was my worst experience in Thailand. The owners took my money but didn’t take responsibility.
