A lovely pool at these great private villas and guest house on Phuket’s southern tip.

Room 6 was spacious, with a huge display window and a balcony. It had great air conditioning, a lamp, fan, fridge, kettle, and even a hairdryer, which my wife says is important. The host Roger and his wife were wonderful, as were their dog Freud and two cats. Watch out for the cats, though, they like scratching their claws on your bike seat. You’ll need transport to get around. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby, but with so few people around, the menu is affected, even though there are plenty of dishes to choose from. The pool was very nice and clean, with a shower and sun loungers by the side.

A great place at a reasonable price, with a private pool, two luxurious bedrooms, and en-suite bathrooms and showers. It’s fully stocked.
