Our Jungle Camp - Eco Resort

The half-day and half-night safari was a highlight. It was very well organized and paced, and our knowledgeable, passionate guide cooked us a meal in bamboo in the jungle. That made it unforgettable. At Our Jungle Camp, the staff were kind and genuinely caring from the moment we arrived, and made us feel at home. The rooms were thoughtfully designed, with attention to guests and the natural setting. Everything blends into the surroundings, so the resort feels like part of the environment. It’s more than a place to sleep, it’s a nature experience made with real care and character. We’d recommend it to anyone after something special.

Paul kept us warm by the fire when the night got chilly, and the bamboo cooking was fun to take part in. The food was delicious too. We did the Jungle Night Camp with him, and he was friendly, funny, and clearly very experienced. He spotted monkeys, tarantulas, scorpions, and plenty of other animals we’d never have found ourselves, and shared lots of interesting things about local wildlife and nature. We had such a good time and can’t recommend him enough! Sandy & Wichan 😎

Sky was approachable and helpful the whole time, and his clear, engaging explanations about the local wildlife were really interesting. We had a great tour, with both the jungle trek and lake visit enjoyable and well organized.

The food was easily the best we had in Khao Sok, but the service was the worst we’d experienced in Thailand so far. It’s a shame, because this is such a nice place. We came for dinner on our last evening, partly because it had been recommended for its vegetarian choices. At 19:45 we were told the kitchen was closing at 20:15, so we hurried in. The waiter’s first question was “what’s your room”? There was no greeting, and she handed us the menu as if she were doing us a favor. While we ordered, the service felt rushed and she looked unhappy, saying, “I want to close.” Our food arrived before the table was set. There were no glasses or cutlery, and we had to ask for them while the waiters focused on clearing empty tables. As we finished our main course, the waiter brought the bill and asked us to pay, even though other tables were still ordering food and dessert. We weren’t even asked if we wanted dessert. It felt so rude that it spoiled the meal. I hope the staff get better training in future.
