The location is the one good thing, near the center and within walking distance of the main attraction. Our family room for four was spacious, and at least the AC worked. But the room was very dirty. The floor was so dusty that our feet turned black with soot, so bring slippers or keep your shoes on. The bathroom was extremely unhygienic, with lots of cockroaches, spiders, and dust scattered around. There was no hot water in the shower. We asked the staff to clean, but they didn't. We don't mind an old room, just clean it.

It's an easy walk to the bus station, and there's free coffee in the lobby. No breakfast, though, and on weeknights the school next door gets noisy early in the morning. The rooms are big and the place is getting a bit dated. Still, this is my usual stop in Phayao, a basic Thai hotel with what you need for a simple night.

It's very close to the bus station and markets, and there's a bicycle you can use to get around town. They also offer free coffee in the morning. The staff are kind and welcoming. I've stayed a few times: the hotel is a little old, but very clean and well kept, and the rooms are spacious and spotless. For the price, it's a great deal. Highly recommended!

It's a pleasant place about five minutes on foot from the bus station and ten from the beautiful lake. My room was clean and quite large, though the aircon took a while to cool it. There was a TV, a fridge with two free bottles of water, and parking. Wi-Fi is free, with the login details available at reception, where there's free coffee too. I paid 450 baht a night. The only downside was that I couldn't get hot water in the shower. All in all, a great stay and I'd come back.
