Alinda Resort Phetchaburi

'Resort' doesn't feel like the right name for this place. The rooms are nice and clean, though we did find ants in ours. There are large windows, but they face the parking lot and hotel entrance, so people can see into your room. The woman who checked us in didn't speak English. That's not a huge issue, but she couldn't help with information about the area. It's right by the highway and not easy to get to on foot.

The price is affordable and reasonable, and the location is good. But the layout feels odd: the garden in front of the room faces the reception desk and dining tables, so I couldn't relax without worrying people might look at me. I kept the curtains closed whenever I was in the room. The walls must be very thin too, because I could hear people talking next door.

There isn't much to do here beyond staying, but it's a great place to sleep. The modern concrete look is really nice, and the room rate is super cheap. Coffee and tea are served in the morning.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were spotless and recently built. Hot water worked well and the shower pressure was good. Even a tall person should find the shower head at a comfortable height.
