You can unwind beside the river, and the location is great. The owner speaks English and was really helpful, even giving us a free ride to the beach. Bicycles are available to rent for 50 baht a day. We found ants in the room, but we'd left food there; once we took it out, the ants mostly disappeared. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had hot water.

The bed was comfortable, and it was a quiet place, but we were disappointed. She charged us 300 baht for a rather poor room with a shared bathroom. Later we found that a much better room was available online for 400 baht, while she had wanted to charge us 500. We also didn’t get coffee or even a glass of water, as guests in Thailand usually do. We arrived late and exhausted, so we accepted the room. I’d recommend booking online.

It’s in a great spot for walking around town, though being so close to the street meant traffic noise. The basic room was in the centre and had plenty of flat surfaces for putting things down. We paid 300 THB per person. The shared bathroom was clean, but the room was very dusty and didn’t look like it was used regularly. The outside rooms with ensuite bathrooms cost 500 THB.
