A peaceful, romantic spot with friendly staff and interesting palace ruins nearby. The hotel is good value, with a large pool and a restaurant conveniently beside it. Rooms have been redecorated. A double room is 600 baht a night, or there’s a smaller one for 420.

It seems like a decent place for conventions. The rooms are about as good as those at nearby places. There’s also a nice pool for kids and a restaurant that should appeal to families.

The toilet and shower have been completely redone and are clean and efficient. The rooms themselves feel a bit dated, and there’s no cable TV. There also aren’t enough power outlets for charging phones and other accessories.

The air in my room didn’t work, the bathroom paint was peeling, and there was no hairdryer or little fridge for guests. The onsite restaurant, though, was fabulous. It’s not a bad place.
