Dragon River Avenue Hotel

We came just for dinner, so I can’t comment on staying at the hotel. The restaurant was clean, with comfortable seating and a lovely atmosphere by the river, especially upstairs. There was live music during our visit, which was a nice touch. The food was better than expected, nicely cooked and delicately flavored. It wasn’t too spicy, though you could add heat with the chilies that came with the dishes. The roasted duck curry was tasty and interesting, and we liked the tom yum and sunflower shoot salad as well. Service was attentive and friendly. Prices were a little high, as you’d expect at a hotel restaurant, but still reasonable. The only gripe was that the rice arrived about five minutes after the main dishes. I’d recommend it for the good food and seating.

The food was amazing and cheap, and the presentation alone gets five stars from me. Breakfast cost extra, but was well worth it for the great river views. The room was big, comfortable, clean and nice, and the staff were polite and helpful. I’ll definitely stay here again.

I had a nice stay and would recommend this hotel to you all. I’ll come back.

They’ve started renovating the rooms, which is good to see. They’re already quite nice, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they turn out.
