Kresident Hotel

I called first and was told there was parking for my trailer truck and room to turn around. Once I got there, I couldn't turn around at all, so I had to reverse a long way back out. I felt misled, and nobody was there to direct traffic.

I was told a one-year contract was required, with four months' rent paid upfront at 6,500 baht a month. Leaving early means losing the 26,000 baht deposit. I've lived here almost a year, and they still haven't returned a single baht. I can't switch rooms, and if something goes wrong I just have to wait for a technician. Each repair leaves the room dirty. The room smells musty, and much of the furniture is old. The only renovation seems to have been replacing appliances. Water pressure is very low, and the well water leaves the toilet water brownish and cloudy. The dorm internet is so slow it's unusable for work, and I can't connect with a LAN cable either. The air conditioner is the biggest ongoing problem. It failed four times in one month, and repairs took ages. It was already broken on my first day, with no cool air and a non-working swing function. The unit in the picture looks new, but only its outer casing was changed to keep it from yellowing. Without air conditioning the room gets unbearably hot and stuffy. I asked to move, but they refused and said the other rooms would have the same problem. It's been going on since I moved in six months ago, and technicians keep coming in and out. It's incredibly frustrating. I don't recommend this place.

The staff were very polite. The girls were beautiful and cute.

The service was good. The staff were kind and spoke politely.
