Photharam126 Resort

The entrance didn't make much of an impression, and I booked mainly because the hotel was near the light show at NaSattha park. Once inside, though, it was quieter and more peaceful, with relaxing seats beside the Mae Klong River. The staff gave good service.

We were just as happy spending time at the resort and walking by the river in the morning as we were exploring nearby floating markets, temples, and natural attractions. It’s a convenient base, but also a calm place to unwind, with lush greenery and lovely Mae Klong River views. Our room was spotless, spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and very comfortable, especially the bed. Waking up to the river each morning was special. The staff welcomed us warmly and were attentive without getting in the way. We stayed at Photharam126 for a few nights while traveling through Ratchaburi, and it was one of our most relaxing, charming stays in Thailand. Highly recommend for a peaceful break with a touch of elegance and authentic Thai hospitality.

The resort was quiet and private, and had an EV charger for one car. It’s a lovely place I’d visit again, though for me that may be after the bridge construction is finished. The new bridge made it hard to find the right route, since it obscured the way. A local man on a bicycle kindly rode ahead and showed me the correct path, which really impressed me. The resort staff were also concerned that I might not find it, called me several times, and offered to send someone to guide me. The people in the area were very nice and helpful too.

The staff were kind and very helpful, and our rooms, D01-02, were huge with well-equipped bathrooms. Breakfast choices were limited to things like American breakfast and rice porridge, but there was fruit and bread as well. Highly recommended.
