Bangkok Tree House

The staff were excellent: kind, attentive, and helpful throughout. When we reported the room problem at night, they moved us, and they offered extra breakfast when the portion I'd first chosen wasn't enough. I really appreciated their hospitality. Bangkok Tree House is visually striking and truly unusual, with a peaceful, breezy atmosphere and greenery, river, and forest views that's hard to find so close to Bangkok. But staying there wasn't very practical, especially if insects bother you. We found lots of ants in Room No. 9. Bugs are part of a nature retreat, of course, but ant traps or preventive treatment would help. A Lamphu tree directly over our rooftop dropped resin all over it, so we couldn't enjoy the sky-watching we'd looked forward to. Staff said they had known about the issue from the start but still assigned us that room, which was disappointing. A rubber mat or cover might have helped. It's worth experiencing once for its creative design and charm, though the insects and room conditions could make it less comfortable for some guests.

The staff were friendly and helpful with our questions, and the rooms were better than I expected. We saw only two or three big ants, including one in the bed. Honestly, another hotel I stayed at had more bugs in the room. This place is best for relaxing away from the city's bustle. You can explore the centre, but it's inconvenient enough that I'd set aside a whole day for it.

My girlfriend and I had lunch here. The food was incredible and great value, and B, our server, spoke excellent English. We'll be back!

Glad you hosted The Summer I Turned Pretty watch party. It started a little late because of the heavy rain, but that was okay. Kuya Jun was quick to serve us and very accommodating. The place was full on both the ground floor and the top floor.
