Andamantra Resort and Villa Phuket

The slow check-in was the main downside: it took almost 1.5 hours. Keep your passports handy, and note the advance deposit is accepted only in Thai Baht. I'd suggest arriving at least an hour before check-in time to avoid delays. Once checked in, service was quick and responsive despite the property's huge size, and carts take you between reception and the room. We spent two days at Andamantra Phuket and really liked the sea-view room. It was spacious and comfortable, with a large TV, kettle, bathrobes, fresh towels and room slippers. The large bathroom had a bathtub and separate shower, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning, with the ocean just across the road from the villa. There are three swimming pools, including one with a beautiful ocean view. The location is quite good, around 2 km walking distance from the Patong Beach area and Bangla Road. A 7-Eleven is beside the villa, and Amritsari Indian Restaurant is just outside the property. A beautiful place with great views, comfortable rooms and efficient service once you're checked in, though the front desk could improve.

I had a wonderfully relaxing treatment at Andamantra Spa. Aoy assisted me and was skilled and professional, tailoring the session to what I needed. The peaceful atmosphere starts as soon as you walk in and takes you to another level of solace. If you're visiting Phuket and want to unwind, make time to book a treatment here. Highly recommended.

The worst part was reception. They couldn't sort out any problems or help us, even when our toilet leaked and smelled of sewage. The rooms were old and dirty, and the kettle had black stuff inside it, as if they'd boiled socks in it. We also couldn't swim in the pool again after the first time: the water was nearly hot, smelled disgusting, and felt like a swamp if you got it in your mouth. Getting to blocks 8-9 or farther meant a 7-9 minute walk up and down the hotel's levels, good cardio if that's what you want. Breakfast was maybe 2-3 out of 10, with poor quality. We tried it for the first few days, then gave up and went to the cafe after four days. Room cleaning only happened after three phone calls and two visits to reception; they changed the bed linens only when we explicitly asked and begged. It's about a 10-minute walk to Patong Beach, for reference. A firm 2 out of 10. Never stay here.

We paid a huge amount to stay at Andamatra resort phuket, but it was disappointing from beginning to end and nowhere near worth the money. They charged extra for almost everything, even a laundry bag and small plates, which seems unacceptable for a property claiming to be premium. The room had a serious mosquito problem, and repeated calls for help got no response. We also had no Wi-Fi for two days, and the doors felt poor quality and insecure. Staff weren't helpful and didn't take our complaints seriously. The service and facilities didn't match what we paid. A complete waste of money, and I strongly recommend not booking here.
