Borbaboom Poshtel - Hostel

The location was good, the bathroom was clean, the A/C was cold and the common area worked well for getting work done. But there were way too many mosquitoes, the water by the sink that was labelled "filtered" made me sick for a whole week, and the bed was really uncomfortable.

Everything worked for me. It was very clean and spacious, with friendly staff and a spot-on location in downtown Phuket. It’s close to the main attractions, the blue bus, the night market and even 7/11. I really enjoyed it.

I spent one night in a bunk room with seven other people and was surprised by how pleasant it was. The place was exceptionally clean and quiet, more like a cozy retreat than a shared room. The bed was comfortable, with its own light and socket, and the black curtains gave good privacy. The shared bathrooms were kept up well and towels were provided. I liked the common pantry for preparing snacks or meals, and lockers made it easy to keep my things secure. I didn’t use the laundry, but it was available in the lobby, which is a nice plus. There was also a small pool, and the location made it easy to walk to lots of attractions. Guests and staff were friendly, which added to the welcoming feel. I couldn’t take many photos of the beds or rooms because of other guests’ privacy, but I can say I enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend!

The location was great, the accommodation was modern and clean, and the service was lovely. The rooftop pool was a great bonus.
