Chamemon Bed Phuket Town

Phuket Old Town is an easy 10-minute walk away, and the hotel itself is quiet and relaxing. The decor is lovely, and the rooms are clean, with a clear eye for detail in both upkeep and service. Staff made a real effort to keep the stay comfortable. Breakfast each morning was simple but tasty: boiled eggs, fresh bread, several marmalades, cereal, coffee, tea, cookies, and ripe bananas. It's a lovely choice for a two or three-night break. I didn't want to leave.

It's a new hotel with clean rooms, a lovely green theme, and very good value. Staff were helpful, and there are free coffee and snacks, board games, and a comfortable shared work area. A couple of small things: the toilet's sliding door in my room had a gap and didn't always shut properly, though it wasn't a big deal. The hotel is near the city but in a relatively abandoned area with some massage parlors. It felt very safe, so that wasn't really a concern.

For a no-frills stay, the interior decor, cleanliness, and service were all top-notch. There was plenty of free parking, and I give the bedding and towels five stars for cleanliness. The shower had decent pressure, and the wall-mounted instant water heater worked fine. I missed having soap and toiletries like a toothbrush or comb. Getting used to shower gel instead of soap took a while. The spring mattress was soft, and the room came with mineral water but no coffee or tea.

Nain was especially helpful and even lent me her scooter so I could get cash. The staff were very helpful in general, and there were free snacks and fruit. Rooms were neat and clean, good value for the money. The nearby "massage parlours" might feel uncomfortable if you're here with family. The area looks shady at night, though it isn't. For a clean, cozy room on a budget with good staff, this is a great choice.
