Kalima Resort & Spa, Phuket

Nanny, Emmy, and S.Pooh kept our room spotless and made wonderful figures out of towels every day. Kook in the lobby was especially helpful. Everyone treated us with such kindness and hospitality, and the hotel had everything we needed. They helped make this the most perfect honeymoon, and we’d happily come back. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The location was the main drawback. It’s on a busy dual carriageway with nowhere to walk, and several kilometres from the beaches. I’d suggest avoiding rooms in block 5, though the other rooms were good. The staff were lovely, the restaurant was very good with great views, and the infinity pool had lovely views too. The gym was good, with yoga classes available daily.

The people at Kalima made the stay feel special from the start. Lobby porters Alex, Panya, Kook, Kung, and Man, along with Nandoong in the Executive lounge, were warm and professional, and made us feel like family. Our One Bedroom Pool Villa was stunning, with generous space, a private pool, and sweeping Andaman Sea views from the hillside above Patong. Check-in was smooth, the room was beautifully appointed, and housekeeping was flawless. Breakfast looked lavish, and in-room dining was just as good. A truly exceptional resort, and one I recommend without hesitation.

We spent 10 days at this lovely resort and would happily recommend it to families or couples. Getting around was easy, thanks to the front office team, who sorted transport quickly, helped us change money, and made everything run smoothly. The staff worked so hard to make our stay great. S.Ree Pod and Ona kept our rooms in wonderful shape and made sure we had what we needed for both beach days and lazy afternoons by the pool. At breakfast, trainee Pearmai and supervisor Noonis greeted us with lovely smiles each morning, and the food was beautiful. Thanks, Kalima resort and spa, for such a memorable, enjoyable holiday.
