The employees seemed friendly, and there was a kitchen on every floor where you could make tea. It cost $63 for seven days, and there wasn't a safety deposit you had to pay. I booked what was listed as “Terminal58hostel@town,” but after I made the reservation, they texted to say the place was now called “OYO 501 At Night Hostel.” It already felt a bit shady. I've seen bad booking places make new profiles to hide negative reviews and keep attracting guests, and I wondered if that was happening here. The room was tiny, the smallest hostel room I've seen in Thailand, but the smell was worse. It smelled awful, like mold and an old person. The air conditioner barely worked and did nothing about it. The bed was stiff and uncomfortable, and our window opened onto the shower and toilet area. Even with it closed, we could hear everything happening there pretty loudly. Someone on our floor kept coughing every 5-10 minutes, day and night, and it sounded bad. A lot of the girls on the floor were wondering if it was contagious.

The second-floor lounge, with sofas and comfy beanbags, was a nice place to chill, and the computer area there worked well and was free to use. We stayed eight nights, and it was our favourite place in Thailand. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Our room had plenty of space, a kettle, fridge, and air conditioner. It was cleaned every day, and they left free coffee and bottles of water in the fridge. We'd certainly recommend staying here.

The staff changed the sheets, cleaned the floor, and left a bottle of water each day if you wanted one. Our double room also had a refrigerator, AC, desk, and mirror. I had an amazing stay at this hostel. Enjoy your visit!

The stay itself was fine, but don't buy tickets at the counter. We asked for a ferry ticket for 700 baht and paid that amount, but got a shuttle ticket around the bay that's worth 300 instead. Don't ask them for tickets.

The flower shop is the entrance, and the location is great. There's no elevator, and there wasn't enough space to dry things. Still, it's worth the money.
