Paripas Patong Resort

Our room had ants, which was uncomfortable and really disappointing. When we asked to move to the same floor as our family, staff first refused and wanted extra payment because the other room had a “view.” They only agreed after we kept insisting. Reception staff were particularly rude, and service was very slow throughout our stay. Polite communication and hospitality matter in a hotel, and both were missing here. Management seriously needs to improve staff behavior, customer service, and room maintenance.

The room was still being cleaned when we arrived at 14:00, even though staff had confirmed it would be ready then. They kept explaining the delay by saying cleaning wasn't finished, and we were turned away when we asked to check in at the scheduled time. Once we finally got inside, the room wasn't very clean either. The lobby was unbearably hot, with no air conditioning and fans that barely helped. We were also told we couldn't eat food we'd bought from 7-Eleven, despite the restaurant being open. The service was awful throughout. Only guests who had already checked in could leave luggage or use the pool. On top of that, the 3,000 Thai baht deposit for one room seemed absurdly high, like a charge for a much more luxurious hotel. u know Thailand is sosososo hot!!

We had a lovely time at Paripas Patong Resort and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were spotless, the pools were beautiful, and everyone on staff was exceptionally friendly. Going home was the only downside, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Room 2108 Pieter

Paripas is pretty average overall. The room wasn't especially clean and the toilet smelled bad, though the staff were polite and nice, just as you'd expect. The location works well, right behind the road that faces the beach, and it's about a five-minute walk to the sand. Breakfast can make a big difference, but sadly not many Patong hotels get it right. Paripas is one of those, though it's not the worst either.
