Bhukitta Boutique Hotel Phuket

Check-in and checkout were hassle-free, and the included breakfast was good with quick service. My room was in block A, spacious, with a relatively soft bed for Thailand. The bathroom was clean and comfortable, and there were two water bottles in the fridge when I arrived. It's a fine hotel next to Bus Terminal1, with a 100bhat ticket to Airport. The vinyl floor wasn't really to my taste, though it was clean. I couldn't see what the “free coworking space” was meant to add. The room Wi-Fi was only 2Mbps, super slow. I'd read negative reviews about mold and other things, but that wasn't my experience.

The location is one of Bhukitta Hotel's best features. It's very close to Phuket Old Town, so cafés, local food, and city center attractions are easy to reach on foot. The room was spacious enough and generally comfortable, and breakfast was fine, nothing special but nothing to complain about. They also serve halal food, a big plus for Muslim travelers or anyone seeking halal options. We stayed three nights, and cleanliness was the weak point. The first night was acceptable, but housekeeping didn't clean thoroughly on the following nights, and visible dirt remained on the bed, which made things uncomfortable. The hotel has potential because of its location and room size, but it needs to take cleanliness more seriously for guests staying several nights. If that improves, it could be a solid choice in Phuket Town.

We booked two rooms for four people and planned to stay 5 nights, but left after just one because the room was dirty, the bed was terrible, and staff were no help. We asked to move rooms on the first day and again the next morning before deciding to check out. Both times, we were told the hotel was fully booked. A few hours after we booked somewhere else and checked out, staff asked why we were leaving 4 days early. We explained that the room and overall condition were unacceptable. Suddenly, they offered to move us, even though we'd been told twice it wasn't possible. It felt like they only made the offer because they feared a bad review. We got no refund or compensation. Staff said the manager would contact us, but that never happened. Very unprofessional. Don't waste your money or time. There are much better options elsewhere.

The hotel has a lovely navy blue Thai-Chinese style, and the receptionists, Miss Film and Miss Mook, greeted us warmly as soon as we entered the lobby. Our room was in the opposite building, spacious, welcoming, and clean. There are two pools of moderate size in the hotel grounds, plus an in-house café called Thé Café with refreshing food and drinks at affordable prices. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a great spread and tasted good. It's a hidden gem in Phuket Old Town, and I'd highly recommend it to visitors.
