Phuvaree Resort Phuket

We spent five nights here. The resort is only about 2 km from Bangla Street and Patong Beach, so it’s handy for both daytime and evening outings. The staff were warm and enthusiastic with guests. Our room and bathroom were both very spacious. We loved it, thanks, and see you again 🙏

The lift lobby had hair lying around and plenty of mosquitoes. Even basic requests were a problem: when I asked for a dental kit, staff rudely told me to go to 7-Eleven, and we were refused a third sugar or coffee sachet after being limited to two. We had confirmed a Veg Indian breakfast months ahead, but there were no options for us when we arrived. The buffet was disappointing too, with no croissants, muffins, mixed fruit jam, or hot milk. For a “4-star” hotel, that felt like a joke. This came across as a budget motel pretending to be a resort. Bring your own toothbrush, food, and cleaning supplies.

The pool itself was good, but the sunbeds weren't clean and a pool towel cost extra. At breakfast, empty dishes weren't refilled, the dining area didn't feel very hygienic, and there were few fruit choices. Most of the Thai dishes were edible, though. The day staff were cooperative, while the night staff weren't. The location is a little far from the main entertainment, and the mattress didn't feel right for a 4-star property. Disposable slippers were missing too. The online photos seem to be old, from when the property was newer and better maintained. I paid almost $100 a night. My experience was about 50/50, but the owner could make this a very good Phuket property by taking care of these smaller issues.

Every minute of my stay was wonderful. The room was lovely, the hotel itself was incredible, and the service felt world class. Natda at reception was especially helpful, and communicated so clearly. My family and I will be back. Thank you.
