The Wave Hotel Patong Sha

The pool area is fine, the staff are friendly, and the location is fairly quiet. The rooms are spacious, clean, and cheap, with what you need. There's no elevator, and the air conditioned gym is broken, so the facilities could be better if those things matter to you. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the market and jungceylon, and 25-30 minutes to pa tong beach. Would stay again!

We keep coming back, my wife and I. The owners are friendly, the food is great, and this is the best spot in Bangtao. You can relax, head out on the water for E-Foil rides, and enjoy the beachfront dining. The sunsets are epic and the atmosphere is incredible. This place does it all.

On the outskirts of Patong, The Royal Waves Hotel has a pool, gym, and pool table, along with great rooms, all at a very good price. If you're visiting Phuket on a budget, this is where I'd stay.

The bathroom water wouldn't drain properly, the bed was dusty and smelled musty, and the amenity kit only had enough for one person for one day. Service was the worst part. The customer service was very bad, and the receptionist was rude. They actually yelled at us to check out, even though we'd said we wanted to extend our stay by a few hours. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here.
