The Vijitt Resort Phuket

Tommy was a real asset to the team. He was incredibly helpful and sorted out whatever we wanted, from plans and excursions to restaurant ideas and trips around Phuket. Thanks, Tommy, you’re a great person. We absolutely loved The Vijitt Resort. Our Deluxe Villa was awesome and perfectly set up for our 5 Year Wedding Anniversary. The food and drinks were great, and the gym had everything we needed. We have no complaints about the resort, and every member of the team was professional and friendly. Thank you, Vijitt Resort. The spa was great, and we especially enjoyed the couple's spa. Breakfast had lots of choices and was served by the beach, though at certain times it got very busy and there may not have been enough staff. We had a lovely, peaceful stay in the detached villas. They’re north of the Rawai beach area and about a 15-minute walk from Rawai, the seafood market, and restaurants. The rooms are huge, with a bath and outdoor shower, and we had no noise issues. The pool was great too, with a sea and beach view. We’d definitely come back.

After driving 1.5 hours from Patong, my family of eight arrived hoping to have lunch and let our daughter swim for about an hour. We were turned away and told the hotel was “full.” That might have been understandable, but the reception staff were arrogant and dismissive, with no sense of customer care. The response was essentially that we could complain if we wanted. The pool and sunbeds clearly weren’t full, and nobody offered an explanation or alternative. We spent three hours on the road for nothing, then had to take home a crying child who couldn’t understand why she couldn’t swim. We’d been regulars for years, coming almost every Sunday for brunch in groups of 10 to 12 and spending 10,000 to 15,000 THB each time. We used to speak highly of the place and recommend it, but this experience changed our minds completely. I emailed management afterward with the details and never got a reply, which just confirmed the lack of professionalism we’d seen in person. A high-end place should understand that service and attitude matter as much as the facilities. This was a complete failure on both counts. We won’t return and can’t recommend it anymore.

We came for Sunday brunch and had an excellent experience. The buffet had an outstanding range of high-quality food, and the welcome was warm and professional. Service was to a very high standard, and the elegant, refined decor added to the visit. Afterward, we spent the afternoon beside the exceptionally clean pool, with its breathtaking sea view. The establishment is beautiful and clearly well maintained and regularly renovated. A relaxing place we’d gladly recommend.
