The room for five was a good size, and we liked the pool and the easy five-minute bike ride to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful too. But the apartment felt dated, with cracked walls and stained blinds, and the bathroom smell lingered even after staff tried to fix it. The master bedroom's air-conditioning also struggled, though the rest of the apartment was fine. Breakfast was a letdown. We asked about halal food and were told it could be arranged, but the choices were limited to sausages, pancakes, omelettes and rice. By 9am the fruit was gone, and none was brought out when we asked. At 4,000 baht a night, it didn't feel worth the price. Good in some ways, but not great, and I probably wouldn't stay again.

The beach at Sam roi yot is so beautiful, and there are lots of different food places nearby. The service was really good too. Just a beautiful place.

It's a peaceful spot for getting away from city life, with the beach only a short walk away and Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park nearby. At The Beach Village Resort, you can stay in a private villa, suite or studio, and each has a well-equipped kitchen. The blocks have semi-private pools, each measuring 12 x 4 meters. The staff are genuinely welcoming and happy to help. Food at the resort is convenient and generally well received, with good quality meals. Nearby dining choices can be limited if you don't have a car or bike, though bicycles are free to use. If you don't mind traveling a bit to see the area, it's a lovely place to unwind and enjoy Thailand's natural beauty.

We stayed four nights with our two-year-old daughter and loved it. The resort is in a beautiful setting and very well maintained, and the staff were so sweet and made sure we had what we needed. They helped us book a tour, arrange transport back to Bangkok and get our laundry done. We ate most dinners at the resort's coconut restaurant. The food was very good and really cheap, and happy hour from 5 to 6 had good cocktails. Amazing place, highly recommend!

We found the staff really helpful and accommodating. It's family friendly, with bikes you can use to get around, and the beach is right next door. A beautiful spot in a quiet setting.
