Pa Prai Villas and Suites

The pool area is clean and comfortable, and the villa has a very large room with a huge bathroom. Staff were eager to help us get to our villa. I recommend staying here.

A couple of the rooms are close enough to the generator that you can hear it, so choose one of the better rooms if you can. Apart from that, we had a really nice stay at Pa Praia villas. The rooms with a view were great, the food at breakfast and dinner was very good, and Pu, the manager, gave us helpful tips and a ride when we needed one. Good value for the price.

The breakfast was delicious and generous, even though the buffet wasn't always available. Pun, who leads the team, was especially kind and accommodating, and the staff were lovely. The setting among the pineapple trees is peaceful. A couple of things bothered me: the villa generator is very loud and hard to switch off, and the water bottles in the room cost far too much, when most hotels provide them free.

We had a great time at New Year. The resort put on fireworks, free finger food and a Piña Colada, then monks came the next morning for a blessing. The breakfast buffet was fresh, tasty and had loads of choice, and the pool was spotless and refreshing. Our room for three was spacious and clean, the AC worked well, and we enjoyed drinks on the balcony overlooking the pool and mountains. Pum drove us to beaches, caves and wats for a very reasonable fee, and also took us to some very local night markets for free, which only run on Saturdays. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, with some English and some studying to improve it. Nothing negative to say about the place. We'll be back... kapkhunkaaa!
