The Phu Resort

One of the worst rooms in Krabi. The staff were very bad, the rooms shabby, and the towels and bathrobes felt really cheap. The staff were rude too. I’d never stay at a place like this or recommend anyone plan a stay here.

I’ve been back three times now, and each stay has been nicer. Waking up, opening the door, and stepping straight into the pool is fantastic. The pool is big enough, spotless, and crystal clear. Breakfast has improved and now has the essentials, including for foreigners. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with a modern bathroom and a separate shower. It’s a peaceful place where you can enjoy a quiet stay minute by minute. Some improvements have made it more comfortable, though a suitcase stand would still be useful.

We spent a full week here and felt at home. Chumpita and her team did everything they could to make our vacation enjoyable, thank you! The Phu Resort Pranburi is a family-run little gem with eight lovely, comfortable rooms, good beds, Sat-TVs, freezers, air-conditioning, and modern bathrooms. There’s a nice garden and pool, and the area is quiet while still having several options for lunch, dinner, and coffee. You can bring your own food or buy something at the local market right across the street. The Sirinat Mangrove Ecosystem Learning Center is within walking distance. Free bikes are available for the short ride to the sea, where there’s a bike lane along the shore to Khao Kalok and even Sam Roi Yot National Park.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and there’s a little outdoor pool. It’s handy for shops and restaurants, close to the beach, and you can borrow a bicycle. The staff were friendly.
