We enjoyed our stay, but the room change left us disappointed. The Forest House was farther away and had an unpleasant smell, so we asked to move. The staff kindly put us in a Deluxe room in the main building, but wouldn't refund the price difference. We paid 3,490 for a Deluxe room with an extra bed on the floor. They charged a peak-season rate even though only 2-3 rooms were booked that night. I wouldn't transfer money in advance, since they don't return any difference if plans or rooms change.

The resort grounds were so peaceful, with lots of outdoor seating and lighting. My room was spacious, lovely, and spotless, and the whole place had a great atmosphere. The food I tried was perfect, and the beer was ice cold.

The owner, Ek, is also the chef, and the pizzas are worth a try. The dough is Italian-style, with local ingredients. Breakfast had a good range, including yogurt, coffee, toast, cake, and Thai dishes. We spent two nights at this lovely, peaceful property. Our room was roomy, modern, clean, and equipped with what we needed. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. If you need a motorbike, there are two rental options about 3.3 km away. Go and check the Salt Well via loop. We'll definitely return. Thanks, Ek!

The BBQ at the restaurant was a highlight for me, and they have a well-chosen selection of wine and beer for relaxing evenings outdoors. Wen, the sweetest dog, welcomed everyone like it was his job to make guests happy. I loved him, and was lucky to have him stain on porch with me for a few hours. Utopua is tucked into the mountains of Pua, with beautiful cottages in the woods and stunning views. It has a real sense of peace and makes you want to slow down and reconnect with nature. A and the very hospitable staff run the place with care and make you feel special. Utopua lives up to its name, and I'll absolutely be back. ❤️

The food is amazing, especially the pizza. I'm Italian, and I was shocked by how good and genuinely Italian it tasted. They also have locally crafted beer. If you're in Nan, come stay here or at least stop for dinner. The owner is the real deal. It's just a few minutes' drive out of Pua, with great views and a calm feel.
