The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, and the town is friendly with a great location. It’s clear the owner cares about both the place and the people staying there. I’d happily recommend it to curious travelers.

This charming town feels classy and reminds me of Stow on the Wold, only without the tourists. After 15 months in Southeast Asia, I’d put this among my top three hostels. The rooms are immaculate, the furnishings are high quality, and the design feels thoughtful throughout. There’s a strong shower, a lovely garden, and a good kitchen. It feels like home away from home.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and the shared areas were lovely. Everything was spotless, and the beds were great. They even provided towels and a shower bag, which I thought was a really cool touch. Such a nice hostel with amazing facilities!
