There’s no breakfast and no lift, and I can’t recommend this place. They keep the AC remote from you, so it’s either on and freezing or you pull the key out of the wall and cut all the electricity. We also felt taken advantage of by the property’s taxi arrangements. The drivers seemed to deliberately charge foreigners wildly inflated fares. That’s a problem here since Grab doesn’t work in town and it was hard to find local taxis.

A solid budget stay in Ranong. The room was big, the bed comfortable, and there was a balcony, air conditioning and a strong hot shower. Everything worked well. Plenty of good food nearby, plus a 7 Eleven just around the corner.

The receptionist was friendly and even takes reservation calls, which I liked. The room had a fridge, and there’s a 7/11 nearby. It’s reasonably close to the city center, with food stalls, restaurants and bus companies around. The hotel is quiet, very clean and not expensive.

There’s lots of street food just around the corner, and the main street with fancier restaurants and bars is walkable too. The rooms are clean and spacious for the price, and the staff are really friendly. I’d definitely come back.

They were so kind and helpful, even arranging a ride for me to go to a photo shop and back when I needed passport pictures the next morning. I’d arrived late because my bus was delayed, but the 24-hour reception made that easy. Clean place, great location and lovely people. Thanks so much.
