The view is immaculate, and although the food and drinks cost a little more, you're paying for that setting. Inside, the timber fit-out is classy and well built, with a classic Thai feel rather than a DIY look. The staff were friendly from the moment I arrived, and looked after me throughout. Nan is a star. I'll come back on my next visit.

The food was good, though service could be very slow, some orders went missing, and one chicken dish wasn't cooked properly. The staff handled those issues well. The rooms were comfortable, and everyone was friendly and helpful. A fixture broke while we were there, and they fixed it very quickly after we reported it. Honestly, that was impressive.

Right by the beach, with clean rooms, a comfortable bed, a fridge, and hot water in the shower. Breakfast is included and there's a great choice of food. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'd happily stay here again.

The rooms are basic but pleasant, though I preferred the rooms at Phayamas, their other resort in a quieter part of the island. This place at Long Beach costs a bit more than other resorts there, but includes a very nice breakfast. The staff are super friendly and, contrary to what some earlier reviews said, now very well trained. There was always someone on duty who spoke English perfectly, so we had no trouble communicating.
