Pararim Resort

We came from Chonburi to help flood victims, so I called ahead to reserve four rooms for two people. They said rooms were available, there would be a boat, and parking could be arranged. I even asked about a deposit because the journey was long and I didn't want the rooms to be given away. When we arrived, though, they told us someone else had already transferred money and all the rooms were full. They said another company in the same group could drive us in and had arranged that for us, so we agreed to go along with it. Then we found we couldn't stay after all. There were only blankets and sheets for four people, and when we asked for another blanket, we were told it was cold and to wear thick clothes. The room was awful. We had to find somewhere else to sleep at midnight. Really disgusting.

The parking is difficult, and the room feels a bit cramped. But it's quiet and peaceful, and the affordable price was nice. My fan room stayed cool in the shade of the trees. The bed is firm, like the mattress I have at home, and I slept really well. The TV picture is clear and the sound is loud. Staff were attentive and polite, and the owner was kind. It's opposite Rattaphum Agricultural College.

The rooms are okay and clean. I've stayed two nights and I'm checking in again this evening. The owner is friendly, and the lady owner is very nice. I can't speak for guests from other backgrounds, but for me personally, it's okay.

The room was clean, but I wasn't impressed with the service. When I called to ask about the place I needed to visit for an errand, they said it was nearby, but it turned out to be much farther away and cost me time. If you need directions to nearby places, check for yourself instead of calling, since you may not get accurate information. There are very few songthaews or other public transport options, almost none. If you don't have your own car, you have to use the resort's charter vehicle, which charges a charter rate.
