Right on Rayong's beautiful beach, this is a nice resort with bungalows that have private swimming pools. The rate is 3,500 baht a night, with breakfast included.

There were cockroaches in the room, and no hair dryer. In the morning a bus was parked in front of my villa. The staff also forgot our booking and didn't give us breakfast tickets for our two nights, so we had to ask even though we'd booked breakfast. They first said it wasn't included, then handed over tickets and called it a free hotel complimentary. Terrible service. What a mess!

We stayed at Khiang Thale for two nights and really enjoyed it. It's very quiet and close to the beach. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing in Rayong.

The property and rooms are very clean and well kept. Our smallest room had two king beds, though we only needed one. The beach is just across the road, and pools, a 7-11, restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance. At the time of my stay, 490 baht per night was a very reasonable price.

One of the prettiest beaches. The water's so clear you can still see the dirt under your toenails with your nose just above the surface, assuming there's any.
