Wisdom Hotel

We stayed in a triple room, which was comfortable overall, though there were plenty of signs of wear. This is a residential complex with some units converted into commercial apartments for short-term rentals. The air conditioning worked well, but the water pressure was low, so showering took longer than usual. The toilet sink was leaking, and the balcony needed cleaning.

The lobby customer service was unfriendly and unhelpful. We stayed in the family suite, which was a one-room studio converted into a family suite. Two single beds had been put in the living area, with no dining table or sofa, and the whole family had to share one bathroom. The internet was so bad that the kids couldn't even enjoy the TV. Hopefully they can improve.

We were only there for one night, so I didn't get to try the lovely-looking pool, and can't really judge the service beyond check-in and check-out, where the staff were great. The place is big, with clean but somewhat small rooms, and maybe no chair. Parking is secure. There isn't much in the way of bars or restaurants nearby.

The room was comfortable, but noise carried from the corridor. A whole tour bus group was woken by their Chinese guide using a loudhailer. Given the potential western client base, the TV selection was poor, with only Thai channels free to watch. Breakfast was included, but I wasn't impressed: most of it was cold, including the sausages and fried eggs. There were also 60+ people in the dining room during an OTOP seminar or presentation. Non-stop announcements and chatter, plus scattered applause, made it distracting. None of them were eating, they were all sitting and taking notes. I'd happily stay again, but I'd get breakfast somewhere else.
