Hop Inn Sa Kaeo (SHA Extra Plus)

At a fair price, you get a decent, clean room. What more could you ask for?

I only needed a room for one night and didn't expect much when I booked. Then I met the woman at the front desk, who was the nicest and most helpful person. The room was very clean, everything worked perfectly, and the bed was beautiful. I'll look out for this hotel chain the next time I need a place for a night or even a trip.

There's a large car park on site, and the hotel has its own guard crew. Service is good, though it's a little more expensive than comparable new hotels. It's a good two-star hotel with branches all over the country. The rooms are relatively small, but big enough for most people, clean, and otherwise fine, with everything working as it should. At reception, you can buy drinks, snacks, and noodle boxes to fill with hot water.

The hotel let me keep my bicycle in the room while I was touring Southeast Asia by bike, and there's an elevator to the rooms. There's no breakfast, but Big C Mall is about 100m away, with plenty of places to eat and things to buy for breakfast in your room. The hotel is inexpensive but covered all my needs, with a very comfortable bed, English channels on satellite TV, and very good, fast WiFi in the room. I highly recommend the Hop Inn.
