The views are beautiful, the food tastes great, and it’s a very family-friendly place. Definitely worth a visit!

The Halloween decorations made the place look lovely, but I wouldn’t recommend it because the service was poor. We arrived first, and I ordered fries for my kid along with cake and drinks. I took my child to the playground while my husband and mum waited inside the cafe. The drinks and cake came, but the fries still hadn’t arrived almost an hour later. When I asked, a staff member said the kitchen was busy. But tables that arrived after us got fries first, so I felt she was lying. My kid ended up with nothing to eat.

It’s a bit of a drive from BKK. The playground is small, there aren’t many art facilities, and it doesn’t seem very suitable for walk-ins. The cafe and restaurant have a nice view and good food, though the portions are small. Worth stopping by if it’s on your way.

The kids can stay busy here for hours, and there are several activities each day, some running hourly, so ask the staff about the schedule. While they’re occupied, adults can relax at the breezy Cafe by the river. Food and drinks are quite expensive, though you can understand why. Entry is free, even if you come with a big group of friends or family. It’s a great weekend outing for young kids, and a good option if you’re looking for family activities not too far from Bangkok.
