Carnation Residence

There’s a restaurant, café, and laundry room in the building. The place could use fresh paint and a few touch-ups, but I still found it very good. The hotel is clean and comfortable in a quiet area, with no roaches. The staff are helpful and cute.

This was our second time at Carnation Residence, and we enjoyed staying here again. Reception staff were lovely, and they kindly checked on the transport that picked us up each day for Samrong Imperial mall, which is very close. There’s a 7-Eleven next door and several food vendors nearby. We walked a little past it and found a street restaurant with delicious fish and chips and a pork chop meal, well worth a visit. Laundry is inexpensive: a large load including drying cost us 90 baht, and washing can be as little as 40 baht. Breakfast is basic, with a couple of tasty choices, but satisfying and just right. The coffee was nice too. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. Ours had a spacious bathroom with a shower over the bath, and the firm beds were comfortable enough. There was plenty of space for bags and hanging clothes, plus an in-room safe where you can get the key from reception. A small fridge and bottled water were supplied daily. We were staying for a convention in the area. Thank you, and I hope to see you again.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I enjoyed the included breakfast. Rates were decent too. I rented a car, so I didn’t use the shuttle to the BTS Skytrain station. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The staff were so nice and willing to help, and the restaurant and food were okay. My room had good facilities and didn’t look as old as it did in the picture. I stayed two days because the festival was at Bitec Bangna nearby. The hotel is far from the city, but transport back to the central area is good. When I come to Bangkok for a festival next time, I’ll definitely stay here again. ❤️
