The shower was the only thing I liked: the water came out with good pressure and stayed at a comfortable temperature. I chose this hotel to avoid driving into central Bangkok, thinking I could use the BTS and skip the traffic and parking. The receptionist told me to take a Grab to the station, and then I understood the problem. I’ve never felt so let down by star ratings and other guests’ reviews. At best, this place deserves two stars. Calling it a four-star hotel is a disgrace to other hotels with that rating.

When the power went out, the hotel apparently had not paid its electricity bill, and the place was awful. We had to climb the stairs to the seventh floor, but staff wouldn’t even help with our luggage. The customer service was terrible from the start. They seemed unhappy that we had booked there, and even less pleased when we arrived to check in.

The pool was clean and pleasant, and the staff were friendly. My room was clean too, though a bit cramped, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. It’s a decent budget hotel, but very basic, so I don’t see how booking apps list it as five-star. The location is quite far from everything, though it does suit a quiet break away from the city. And haha, the photographer really made it look amazing in the ads.

Groups have been allowed to drink and talk loudly by the pool at 2 or 3 am, and the night management has been horrible. Chinese guests can be quite loud, and the room itself feels dated. When I raise a noise issue, management offers to move me instead of enforcing quiet hours. The evening reception staff don’t speak English, so I have to use a translation app if there’s a problem. It seems they care more about profit than guests’ satisfaction.
