For the price, this was good value and met my needs during a 12 day work trip in this part of town. It’s not a fancy place, but I’d consider it again, especially for the friendly, responsive staff. The real highlight was Khun Nat and her family. Nat helped with TM30 paperwork for my visa, sorted out minor noise issues, and replied to emails quickly and effectively. Her English is excellent, so communication was easy. There are different room styles. I stayed in a basic room in the cement dorm-style building. It wasn’t as charming as the property’s wooden teak houses, but it worked well enough. The air-conditioning was good, the shower had hot water, and the sheets and towels were clean. There was a fridge and enough room to be comfortable. The mattress was very hard, which is typical in Asia and fine for some, though people used to softer Western-style beds might find it uncomfortable. The room could use some updating, and the walls needed a thorough clean. The pool was a pleasant surprise: clean, well maintained, and usually empty. There are also cute garden areas and places to rest around the grounds. If you sleep lightly or like to sleep in, bring earplugs, because a very loud rooster starts early. UCIS, ACIS, coffee shops, a 24-hour laundromat, and a 7/11 are all within a 20 minute walk.

Good price, nice place, and they have traditional Thai teak houses too.

I booked the room for two days and asked for it to be cleaned, but it wasn’t. At 8 PM I called to request more water and fresh towels, and they brought them. When I returned the key in the morning, nobody even apologized for forgetting to clean the room. Would you stay there again?
