Olive Tree Hotel

A medium-sized pool is there for a swim or to cool off, and breakfast is provided too. The staff are cheerful and friendly, and the service is very good. I found it worth what we paid: the room was very clean, with a roomy shower area and a full set of bathroom supplies. The air conditioning was cool, odorless, and seemed well maintained. I'll come back with family and friends.

For about 700 baht a night, this was a decent budget hotel, though it has plenty of room to improve. I stayed one night in March 2022. The pool itself is great, but there are almost no trees around it, so by 7:30-8:00am it was already too hot to sit nearby. Swimming was great, but I didn't see anyone using the area during my stay. There's plenty of space to plant trees for shade and cooler temperatures. The room was spacious enough, though not clean enough. The curtains were dusty, with about 10 small worms crawling up and down them. Washing them more often, perhaps even once a month, might solve the issue. The balcony was nice, but the other building was only about 5 meters away and was being used as a sort of COVID hotel. The bathroom was spacious but had just a tiny window. The corridor and lift smelled bad, though I'm not sure why. The beach is perhaps a 10-minute walk away, and the hotel is closer to the main road and the 7-11. For the price, it's OK, but there's a lot of space for improvement.

I got a big promotion when I stayed, and I'd stay here again on another visit to Pattaya. It's near the beach. My room was spacious and had everything I needed, with a sea view from the balcony. The pool is big, and there's also a small bubbling pool that looks like a jacuzzi, though the water isn't warm. The staff were helpful.

The hotel has a pool and is near the beach, with well-kept room service and cleanliness. Staff are available at any time, and the atmosphere is peaceful and pleasant. It's outside Pattaya city, which is the one drawback. It's a good option if you rent a vehicle.
