Pob Choke Residences

A nice place to sleep.

We booked three rooms for six people, and when we found a faucet broken in one of them that night, the owner changed our room right away after we told the housekeeper. We really appreciated that response. The place is on the main road, easy to find food near tourist attractions, and quiet and peaceful. The rooms felt new and clean, with new furniture, and the owner was friendly and polite.

The room itself looked new, though the TV was on the small side and there was a water heater. We had one large bed plus an extra small one, but the bathroom door was broken and the floor hadn't been mopped, so my feet got dirty whenever I walked across it. I had called to book for two people at 600 baht and transferred the full amount, but they didn't hold the room. At check-in the manager seemed confused, and we found out there wasn't a room for us unless we paid another 100 baht, bringing the total to 700.

I was really frustrated trying to reach the hotel on June 20 between 9:40 PM and 10:40 PM. Nobody answered the 038 number or any of the other numbers, and some phones were switched off.
