The property is good, clean and bright, but it needs quite a bit of refurbishment. The locks are old and keep jamming.

The location is really good, but the place isn’t maintained well.

The house looks like the photos in terms of layout, but the actual condition is around 50% more run-down than they show. One bedroom smelled so musty that we couldn’t use it for any of the three nights. We told the owner, who said they’d inform the housekeeper, but nothing was done. A few other rooms smelled musty too. The kitchen had a good range of equipment, including a mortar and pestle, grill, and different plates, bowls and spoons. There’s karaoke, a pool table and a swimming pool, but the large sofa was saggy and uncomfortable. The shower and toilet are separate, though some shower rooms have no doors, so water splashes out and it’s awkward when other people are in the room. Cleanliness was 7/10. The house is beside a forest, so there were lots of insects and mosquitoes, and we found a scorpion on the stairs. Getting in is inconvenient because you have to pass through a shipyard. Only very small cars and motorcycles can park inside; other vehicles have to stay outside. Google Street View is out of date. There’s now a shipyard in front of the house, with makeshift restaurants beside it and more restaurants next to the houses. They completely block the sea view, and there’s no privacy. The house is right by the beach, but you can’t swim in the sea because there are only boats there.
