Villa Ozone Pattaya

Our family of 10 had a comfortable night, and everyone enjoyed the pool. I’m happy to recommend the place, especially if it fits your budget, though the small issues leave it feeling like it deserves one star less than it first seems. The resort is still being built, and our villa was one of the completed units that clearly hadn’t seen much use. Even so, the security gate was rusty and had to be opened and shut by hand despite having a motor installed. There was rust or algae at the pool ladder’s waterline, and behind the unit sat two dead potted plants and a stainless steel sink. There are plenty of little design problems. There’s nowhere to put soap or shampoo in the shower, and no place in the bathroom to hang wet clothes or towels, which seems odd for a private pool villa. One bedroom’s blind hits the bathroom door frame when lowered, needs manual repositioning, and hangs twisted. Raising or lowering the blinds took 15 or 20 pulls instead of two or three. The ceiling outlet for the TV didn’t work, so staff rigged an extension cord. The pool’s 45-degree slope between the 1.5-meter deep end and the kids’ area is too steep and slippery to be useful.
